The Government of Manipur is recruiting for the post of Joint Director of Training in the Labour & Employment Department. The selected candidate will be responsible for training and development in the department. The post is open to candidates with a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automobile engineering from a recognized university or institute. The candidate should have about 5 years of industrial experience in a supervisory capacity in a government-run workshop, government-funded workshop, or a firm of repute. The age limit for direct recruits is 35 years and below. The selection process will be through promotion, failing which by deputation, and failing both by direct recruitment. The post is a Class-I post with a pay scale of Rs. 1350-50-1600-EB-55-2040/-(Revised) and Rs. 2375-75-3200-EB-100-3500/-(Upper age limit is relaxable for Govt. servants appointed under the Govt. of Manipur to the extent of the period of continuous service put in the post/service and by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and a Govt. servant who belongs to SC/ST will get the facility admissible to a Govt. servant in addition to the relaxation admissible to SC/ST candidates).
