The Government of India is looking for an eminent Scientist and Educationist for appointment as Director of the Institute of Pesticide Formulation Technology (IPFT). The Institute is a non-profit making organization established in 1991 under the Societies Registration Act. The Director will be responsible for nurturing the Institute into a National Pesticides Formulation Development Centre, developing and implementing a perspective R&D plan, and providing scientific leadership to the diverse R&D groups. The appointment will be made on contract for a period of six years in the Pay Scale of Rs. 1,82,200–2,24,100/- under 7th CPC (Level-15) plus allowances as per Government of India Rules. The last date for receipt of applications would be 30 days from the date of publication of this advertisement in "Employment News".
Education: Ph.D. in Chemistry / Agriculture Chemistry with specialization in Formulation / Analytical / Bio-Science Age Limit: 45 years or above but not exceeding 55 years as on the date of application Experience: Sixteen (16) years experience in the field of pesticide formulation development and research in Central/ State Government / PSU/ Universities / Research Institutes of repute / reputed private companies
