The project involves the acquisition of land measuring 35568.07 Sq.m or 8.789 Acres at Syllei - U — Lar, Umroi, Raid Mawbuh. The Meghalaya Institute of Governance (MIG) has been formed to consult, survey, and conduct public hearings after the publication of this notification. The concerned land owner, Smti. Risadora Kharlor, or her representative, the Headman of Syllei — U — Lar, Umroi, Raid Mawbuh, and the villagers may remain present for hearing for consent/approval for the project. The process must be completed, and the SIA report must be submitted along with the plan (SIMP) within the time specified as per RFCT-LARR Act, 2013. Any attempt at coercion or threat against the process during the specified period will render the exercise null & void.
