Global borrowers are issuing a record amount of euro-denominated debt in 2025, a nearly 20% jump from last year, signaling a growing investor appetite for alternatives to the U.S. dollar. This surge, the third consecutive year of growth, also reflects lower interest rates, particularly for emerging markets.
