India market regulator panel to recommend easing rules for commodity derivatives, sources say

India's market regulator SEBI's panel will soon suggest easing curbs on commodity derivatives. The report will propose making these markets more attractive to institutional investors. Bans on derivatives trading for seven agricultural commodities may be lifted. The panel also recommends changes to tax laws and allowing trading firms to colocate on exchange premises.
