About This Opportunity

The Government of Assam, through the Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA), invites applications for the Draft Local Area Plan for Guwahati Central Area. The plan aims to develop a comprehensive strategy for the area's growth and development. The selected candidate will work closely with the GMDA team to gather data, conduct research, and prepare the draft plan. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in urban planning, research, and analysis. The selected candidate will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data, identifying key issues, and developing recommendations for the plan. The candidate should have excellent communication and project management skills. The selected candidate will work on a part-time basis and will be required to submit regular progress reports. The duration of the project is expected to be six months. The selected candidate will be paid a stipend of ₹50,000 per month.

Eligibility Criteria

Education: Bachelor's degree in urban planning, architecture, or a related field. Age Limit: 25-35 years as on date. Experience: 2-5 years of experience in urban planning, research, and analysis. Nationality: Indian citizen. Other: Strong communication and project management skills.
