About This Opportunity

Eligible candidates are invited for a walk-in interview for engagement of 1 (One) Young Professional II (YP-II) under NIFMD funded FMD Network project (AICRP on FMD) which will be held on 16.12.2025 from 11.00 AM to 4.00 PM at the Conference Hall of the State Disease Investigation Laboratory, Abhoynagar, Agartala. The selected candidate will be engaged for a period of one year which is extendable subject to requirement of the services in the organization and satisfactory performance of the YP. The appointment is co-terminus with the project. The income tax or any other tax liable to be deducted as per the prevailing rules will be deducted at source before effecting payment of monthly salary. No TA/DA and official accommodation will be provided for appearing in the interview/joining in service. TA/DA will be admissible to YP-I for undertaking domestic tour for official work as under: To and fro journey by train in AC-3 tier/AC Chair car and DA at fixed rate of Rs. 1200/- per day for other tour related expenses on Guest house/ Hotel accommodation, food and local conveyance etc. The working hours of YPs will be same as regular employees of State Govt.. No extra benefit will be allowed for working beyond office hours. Unauthorised absence from the project for a continuous period of 08 days without valid reasons shall lead to automatic termination of the engagement. If the candidate does not perform duties as desired by the Department, the authority has the right to terminate the candidate without any explanation. If the selected candidate wants to leave, he / she can do so after giving atleast 15 days notice in writing to the Department. YPs are eligible for 12 days CL in a calendar year and other Gazetted Holidays, restricted leave as per State Govt. rule. Intervening weekly holidays or gazetted holidays during a spell of leaves should not be counted against the admissible leaves. The un-availed leaves will not be carried forward to next calendar year. In addition to this, he/she may also be allowed compensatory leave in lieu of the duty assigned on holidays but not more than 02 leaves can accrue in a month. The compensatory leaves can be accumulated only up to 05 days at a time and he/she may be allowed to avail the same within 03 months. Female YP-I will be entertained to maternity leave as per provision in the Maternity Benefit (Amendment) Act 2017. However, there will be no paternity leave for male YP-I. Intellectual property created due to the work of YP-I during his/ her valid tenure in the institution will be governed by the IPR guidelines of the council. The YP-I shall have to comply with the ‘Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace’ (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. The YP-I shall be subject to the laws of secrecy of the country and will sign a declaration of secrecy and Non-Disclosure agreement before reporting. The engagement will not constitute a regular job or appointment of any nature. He/she will not be regular employee of the Department and would not been titled for any GPF or any other benefit admissible to the regular employee. His/her place of work will be State DI Laboratory, Abhoynagar, Agartala but YP have to visit different places of the country (India) for project related works as when required. On account of paucity of funds, the services can be terminated at anytime. During the term of engagement the YP-I shall comply with the Standards of Conduct. Failure to comply with the same will become a ground for termination of the YP without notice. The Director, ARDD, Tripura reserves the right to cancel/ postpone/ reject the interview or the entire selection process of contractual engagement without assigning any reason thereof.
