The Government of Tripura, in consultation with the Hon'ble High Court of Tripura, establishes a Family Court at Khowai in Khowai Judicial District. The notification takes effect from the date the Presiding Judge of the Family Court takes over charge. The Family Court will exercise the powers conferred on it by the Family Courts Act, 1984, within the local limits of Khowai Revenue District. The notification is issued in exercise of the powers conferred under section 3 of the Family Courts Act, 1984.
