The Government of India, Ministry of Personnel, P.G. and Pensions, Department of Personnel and Training invites applications for the post of Deputy Secretary in the Office of Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trademarks (CGPDTM), Mumbai under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade. The post is to be filled up on deputation basis under the Central Staffing Scheme. The last date for submission of application is July 1, 2020. The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting the Controller General in the administration of the Office and other related duties. The candidate should have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university and should have at least 5 years of experience in the grade of Deputy Secretary or equivalent. The candidate should also have a good understanding of the working of the Office of Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trademarks (CGPDTM) and its functions. The selected candidate will be appointed for a period of 4 years. The application should be forwarded to the Department along with the required documents and clearance certificates. The Department will shortlist the candidates and invite them for an interview. The interview will be conducted by a panel of experts. The selected candidate will be appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Office of Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trademarks (CGPDTM), Mumbai. The salary for the post is as per the pay scale of Deputy Secretary in the Government of India. The selected candidate will also be eligible for other benefits and allowances as per the rules of the Government of India.
