Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST) is an autonomous multidisciplinary research organization under the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India. The Institute requires one Security Officer on contract basis to look after and manage the security system of the Institute. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the Institute's premises, personnel, and assets. The Security Officer will also be responsible for maintaining the security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant subjects from a recognized university. Age Limit: Maximum 62 years on the last date of submission of applications. Experience: Minimum 15 years work experience and retired from at least at the level JCO/equivalent in any one of the Central Organizations. Nationality: Indian citizen. Other: Desirable: Bachelor’s degree in relevant subjects from a recognized university.
A fixed monthly amount shall be admissible, arrived at by deducting the basic pension from the pay drawn at the time of retirement. There will be no annual increment/percentage during the contract period.
