The Rural Development Department, UT Ladakh, invites applications for the appointment of Ombudsman under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, MGNREGA. The appointment is for one post each in Leh and Kargil District. The selected candidates will be appointed for a tenure of 02 (Two) Years extendable not more than twice by One Year each based on a performance appraisal process or till the incumbent attains the age of 68 (Sixty-Eight) Years whichever is earlier. The service of the Ombudsman shall be terminated by the UT Ladakh on the recommendation of the Selection Committee. The Selection Committee shall record the reasons for the recommendation.
