The Institute of Bioresources & Sustainable Development (IBSD) is recruiting for 02 Project Associate-I positions under the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. The positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Selected candidates shall not claim for regular appointment either in IBSD, Imphal and its branches or DBT, New Delhi. The Walk-in-Interview scheduled on 19th May, 2022 stands Cancelled. Now, applications are invited from suitable candidates for the post of Project Associate-I (02 nos.) for the project entitled “Process optimization and up-scale production of lignocellulosic extremozymes from Himalayan microbes for biomass valorization/ depolymerization” funded by Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India at RCIBSD, Sikkim under Himalayan Bioresource Mission. The selected candidates will receive a salary of Rs. 31,000/- +8% HRA (For NET and GATE qualified candidates) or Rs. 25,000/- +8% HRA (For Non NET/ GATE qualified candidates).
