The Coast Guard Region (West) is recruiting for various civilian posts on deputation basis. The posts are available in various sub-offices under Coast Guard Region (West), Mumbai. The details of the posts are as follows: Vacancies: Total - 06 (05 at CGDHQ-4, Kochi, 01 at CGDHQ-2, Mumbai) Eligibility Criteria: Person serving under the Central or State Government: (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis OR (ii) Holding the posts carrying pay scale of (Rs. 5200-20200) with Grade pay of Rs 2400/- (Pre-revised) with six years regular service in the grade AND (iii) Possess the educational qualification and experience as follows: Essential: (i) Matriculation pass or its equivalent from recognized boards. (ii) Certificate of competency as Sarang from recognized Government Institute or equivalent. Desirable: (i) Two years experience as Sarang in-Charge of a vessel of twenty Horse power. Note: 1. The period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization/department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years. Note: 2. The maximum age limit, for appointment on deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years, as on the closing date of receipt of receipt of applications.
