The SMARTH portal is re-opening for students who have not received admission at any College they opted during the first phase of admission process and who has not filled the Online Admission form earlier at Samarth Portal. The portal will be open from 16/07/2025 to 21/07/2025 for such eligible students only. Students who have already taken admission in any Government Degree College are not allowed to participate in this process. The following instructions are to be followed by the students: 1. Students who have already taken admission in any Government Degree College are not allowed to participate in this process. At any point of time, if it is found that already admitted student has participated in this process hiding his/her admission status and take admission at any college, then both the admissions will be cancelled. 2. Vacancy positions of all colleges are uploaded at the website of the Directorate of Higher Education i.e. https://highereducation.tripura.gov.in. All eligible students are instructed to check carefully subject-wise vacancy postions at the colleges they are going to choose. 3. A Student, who passed Higher Secondary / equivalent examination and didn't fill the Online Admission form earlier at Samarth Portal, can register themselves at the Portal and can apply to a maximum of 4 (Four) Colleges and can choose up to 02 (two) Major Subjects per College alongwith one minor subject respectively of their choice. 4. A Student, who has already registered to Samarth Portal and didn't excercised all options i.e. didn't apply four colleges and didn't get admission at any college, then they can fill their pending options after careful selection of College and Major subject based on the vacancy status. 5. A Student, who has already registered to Samarth Portal and excercised all option i.e. already applied in four colleges but didn't get admission, then they can re-register themselves at Samarth portal with new e-mail ID. The can apply to a maximum of 4 (Four) Colleges and can choose up to 02 (two) Major Subjects per College alongwith one minor subject respectively of their choice. 6. If a student makes any mistake during filling-up of online admission form like wrong upload or wrong choice of subject then it may be corrected within the last date of submission. 7. Merit list will be prepared by the College based on the applications received during this phase and admission will be granted as per merit. Admission of any student will be finalized by the respective Colleges subject to verification of all original testimonials. 8. Helpline numbers of all the colleges are uploaded at the website of Directorate of Higher Education and College portal. The details of the admission process are as follows: * Date of submission of online admission application through SAMARTH portal: 16/07/2025 to 21/07/2025 * Date of publication of the Complete merit list and the list of selected candidates for 1 round (2nd phase) admission in the College website and Notice board: 24-07-2025 at 3 PM * Date of physical admission in colleges with original testimonials: 25-07-2025 to 28-07-2024 upto 3 PM (except holidays) * Date of publication of vacancy list (if any) after 2nd round (2nd phase) admission: 29-07-2025 at 11 AM * Date of physical admission in colleges with original testimonials: 30-07-2025 to 31-07-2025 upto 3 PM * Date of publication of vacancy list (if any) after 2nd round (2nd phase) admission: 01-08-2025 at 11 AM After that, if vacancy is available, the remaining admission process will be carried out by the College authority from the remaining candidates in the merit list. The notification of such vacancies and admission schedule shall be widely published by the respective colleges. All the applications are to be made in online mode only through the SAMARTH portal. No manual admission forms shall be entertained.
