The Government of Tripura has appointed Er. Suryapal Majumdar as the In-Charge Chief Inspector of Factories & Boilers, in addition to his existing role as Inspector of Factories (HQs.). This appointment is effective from 31.12.2021, and Er. Suryapal Majumdar will exercise all the powers and perform all the duties imposed on him under the Factories Act, 1948, and the Boilers Act, 1923, throughout the State of Tripura. The appointment is made in exercise of the powers conferred upon the State Government under Section 8(2) of the Factories Act, 1948, and Section 5(4) of the Boilers Act, 1923, read with Rule 15 of the Tripura Boilers Rules, 1983.
