The District Health and Family Welfare Samiti, Rampurhat Health District, is inviting online applications for the contractual post of Laboratory Technician for Block Public Health Unit under XV Finance Commission-Health Grants. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests and providing technical support to the Block Public Health Unit. The position is contractual and will be filled for a specific period. The selected candidate will be paid a monthly consolidated remuneration of ₹22,000. The essential qualifications for the post include a minimum of 19 years and a maximum of 40 years of age as on 1st January 2024. The candidate must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biological Science and must have a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from any Institution recognized by the Govt. of WB or Diploma in Laboratory Techniques (DLT) from School of Tropical Medicine. The candidate must also have 2 years of post-qualification experience in any Laboratory of Government Institutions or Private Institutions licensed under Clinical Establishment Act. The selection process will be based on a written examination and an interview. The application process will start on 04/12/2024 and will end on 18/12/2024. The application fee is ₹100 for General Category and ₹50 for Reserved Category. The application fee can be paid online through net banking/ UPI payment or credit/debit card system. After registration, payment is to be done using application ID & Date of Birth. After successful payment, candidates need to re-login for final submission of application. During the registration/application process, Pop-up is to be accepted. Please do not deposit fee more than one time. The candidates, if found ineligible at any stage of recruitment process, will not be called for the subsequent stages of the selection process. The decision of the competent authorities regarding the recruitment is final. The competent authorities may cancel the recruitment process at any stage of the selection process.
