The Punjab Superior Judicial Service is recruiting for 20 positions, including 1 anticipated vacancy of Additional District & Sessions Judge. Eligible candidates must be citizens of India, have been enrolled as Advocates for at least 7 years, and have practiced as such during the said period. The selection process will be based on a written test and viva voce. The written test will consist of 750 marks, and the viva voce will consist of 250 marks. The examination will be conducted in English medium, except for the language paper. The syllabus and format for the written test will be as under: Paper-I (Civil Law-I), Paper-II (Civil Law-II), and Paper-III (Language). The examination will be conducted by the High Court of Punjab & Haryana, Chandigarh. The application process will start on 01.06.2025, and the last date for submission of applications is 31.07.2025. The examination date will be notified separately. The salary for the post is in the Pay Level J-5 in the Pay Matrix (with an initial start of Rs. 1,44,840/-) or such as may be revised by the Punjab Government from time to time.
