The District Magistrate, Jalpaiguri, invites applications for the post of Para Medical Staff at Korok Chidren Home for Boys, Jalpaiguri. The recruitment is purely on a contractual basis. The selected candidates will be engaged for a period of two years from the date of approval of the list by the District Child Protection Society/Unit. The candidates must have a Diploma in Nursing/Pharmacy and at least three years of experience in the relevant field. The selection process will consist of a written test, computer test, and viva voice test. The written examination will have multiple-choice questions, and the distribution of marks is as follows: English (20 marks), Arithmetic (20 marks), General Awareness (20 marks), and Job specialization oriented (20 marks). The successful candidates will be called for a computer test of 10 marks, and the candidates who succeed in the computer test will be called for a viva voice test carrying 10 marks. The selection committee will submit the merit list of successful candidates in the ratio of 1:4 to the District Child Protection Society/Unit for approval and appointment. The list will be valid for two years from the date of approval of the list by the DCPS/DCPU. The application process will start on December 4, 2024, and will end on December 31, 2024. The application form can be downloaded from the website www.jalpaiguri.gov.in, and the envelope containing the application must be superscribed at the top with the name of the post applied for. The application must be supported by self-attested copies of the following documents: age proof, residential proof, qualification certificate, experience certificate, caste certificate, and self-addressed envelope with requisite postage stamp.
