The Department of Planning, Statistics & Taxation, UTLA, invites applications from eligible candidates for the position of Planning, Statistics, Data Analytics and Monitoring & Evaluation Sector Expert to establish the State Institute for Transformation (SIT) under the State Support Mission initiatives of NITI Aayog. The selected candidate will be responsible for establishing the State Institute for Transformation (SIT) and will work on various tasks such as maintaining synergy between the State Planning Department, Lead Knowledge Institute and NITI Aayog, assisting SIT in achieving its objectives in collaboration with NITI Aayog and the LKI, evaluation and assessment of existing strategies, methodologies, and systems to improve the socio-economic condition of the State, preparation of development strategies, sectoral targets, socio-economic goals and State Vision @2047, as per States requirement and roadmap to achieve the same, and other tasks assigned by the supervisor (Team Leader) as may be necessary in the interest of the mission.
Education: Graduate in Economics, Social Science, Statistics/Commerce/Econometrics/Applied Statistics/Applied Mathematics/ data science or related discipline.
