The Tripura State Higher Education Council (TSHEC) is inviting applications for the positions of Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson. The Chairperson will be an eminent academic or public intellectual with proven leadership qualities, while the Vice-Chairperson will be an eminent academic administrator or a professional from industry with sufficient experience. The positions are not entitled to any salary but may be entitled to an honorarium and allowances as prescribed by regulation with prior approval of the Government. The appointment will be made from a panel of names recommended by a Search Committee constituted under the provisions of Tripura State Higher Council Act, 2019.
