The West Bengal Government is recruiting for ASHA (Accredited Social Health Activist) positions under the Sankrail Block in Jhargram. The selected candidates will work as ASHAs, promoting health and wellness in their respective villages. The positions are open for the 2021-2022 period. The selected candidates will be responsible for conducting health check-ups, providing health education, and referring patients to nearby healthcare facilities. The ASHAs will also be involved in various community-based activities, such as promoting immunization, family planning, and maternal and child health. The selected candidates will be appointed on a contractual basis for a period of one year, renewable based on performance.
