Applications are invited for the appointment on the post of Vice-Chancellor (Kulapati), Shaheed Nandkumar Patel Vishwavidyalaya, Raigarh (C.G.) under the Chhattisgarh Vishwavidyataya Adhiniyam, 1973 and Amendment Act, 2010. The Vice-Chancellor (Kulapati), being the academic as well as administrative head, is expected to be: A visionary with proven leadership qualities, administrative capabilities as well as teaching and research credentials. He/ She should be a distinguished academician, with a minimum of ten years of experience as Professor in a University or ten years of experience in a reputed research and /or academic administrative organization with proof of having demonstrated academic leadership as per 'UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education 2018' and subsequent modifications. The maximum tenure for the post of Vice-Chancellor (Kulapati) is 5 (Five) years, or up to the age of 70 (Seventy) years, whichever is earlier and shall not be eligible for appointment for more than two terms.
