The Indian Coast Guard is recruiting for Store Keeper Grade-I and Sarang Lascar positions on deputation basis. Eligible candidates can apply online within 60 days from the date of publication of this advertisement. The last date of receipt of applications is 23 Jan 24 (Tuesday). The initial place of posting will be at Chennai for Store Keeper Grade-I and Karaikal for Sarang Lascar. The period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization/department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years. The maximum age limit, for appointment on deputation shall not be exceeding 56 years, as on the closing date of receipt of applications. The candidates who apply for the post will not be allowed to withdraw their candidature subsequently. The selection process will be based on the eligibility criteria and the suitability of the candidates. The salary and benefits will be as per the Pay Matrix Level-04 for both positions. Education: Holding analogous posts on regular basis OR Holding the posts carrying Pay Level 2 in the Pay Matrix with six years regular service in the grade; AND Three years experience in handling of Stores and keeping accounts in a store in any recognized firm or Central or State Government Organization or Public Sector Undertaking. Age Limit: 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications. Nationality: Indian citizen. Other: Holding Certificate of competency as Sarang from a recognized Government Institute or equivalent.
Pay Scale: ₹47600 - ₹151100 per month. Grade Pay: ₹2800 (if applicable). Level: Pay Matrix Level-04. Allowances: HRA, DA, TA (if mentioned). Total Package: Approximately ₹47600 - ₹151100 per month.
