The Government of Tripura has issued a notification regarding the interest rates for the General Provident Fund (GPF) and other similar funds for the financial year 2021-22. The notification is based on the resolutions of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs. The interest rates will be applicable from 1st April 2021 to 31st March 2022. The rates are as follows: 7.1% from 1st April 2021 to 30th June 2021, 7.1% from 1st July 2021 to 30th September 2021, 7.1% from 1st October 2021 to 31st December 2021, and 7.1% from 1st January 2022 to 31st March 2022. The notification is addressed to all departments, heads of departments/offices, and other concerned authorities.
