The Department of Agriculture, Cooperation & Farmers' Welfare invites applications for the post of Director on deputation in the National Seed Research and Training Centre Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh), a subordinate office under the Department of Agriculture, Cooperation & Farmers' Welfare. The post is available for a period of five years. The selected candidate will have the option to draw his grade pay plus deputation duty allowance to have his/her pay fixed in the scale of the post in accordance with DOPT's OM.No.2/8/1997-Estt(Part.ll) dated 11.03.1998 and as amended from time to time.
Education: M.Sc (Agriculture) from a recognized University or equivalent. Age Limit: Not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application. Experience: Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department or with five years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Level-12, (Rs. 78800-209200) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre/department.
