Applications are invited from deserved and suitable candidates for the following posts under the project entitled 'Exploring the Marine Ecosystems for Novel Bioresources with Human Health and Industrial Significance' funded by Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt. of India. The main objective of the project is to isolate bacteria from sea water, phenotypic characterization of the enriched bacteria and chemotaxonomic characterization of bacteria, purification and identification of novel bioactive metabolite from the potential bacteria and their function validation and molecular characterization, and next-generation sequencing for meta-genomics, meta-barcoding, WGS, and mass spectrometry analysis for metabolites and proteins. The project aims to explore the marine ecosystems for novel bioresources with human health and industrial significance. The selected candidates will work under the guidance of experienced scientists and researchers to achieve the project objectives. The project is funded by the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt. of India, and the selected candidates will be employed on a contractual basis. The duration of the project is two years, and the selected candidates will be required to work full-time during this period. The candidates will be selected based on their academic qualifications, research experience, and skills relevant to the project. The selected candidates will be required to submit a detailed project report at the end of the project period. The project report will be evaluated by the project committee, and the selected candidates will be awarded a certificate of completion.
