The Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST), Guwahati is an autonomous R&D Institute under the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. The Institute invites applications for admission as institutional JRF of IASST, Guwahati for the year 2023-24. The selected candidates will be required to join the institutional fellowship program of IASST within 15 days from the date of announcement of result. The selected candidates shall be eligible for a monthly stipend and annual contingency as per the recent circular of DST, Govt. of India on fellowship for Ph.D. Subject to availability of seat, selected candidates will be provided accommodation in the Dorothy Hodgkin Student and Scientists Home as per the Institute’s rule.

Education: M.Sc. in Physics with 55% marks in aggregate (50% for SC/ST candidates). Age Limit: Upper age limit is 28 years. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates as per the GOI Norms.
