Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST) is an autonomous multidisciplinary research organization under the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India. The Institute requires one Veterinary Doctor for its Animal House Facility. The appointment would be contractual for 11 months initially, extendable after evaluation. The remuneration would be consolidated at Rs. 65,000/- along with benefit of Medical facility. The eligibility criteria include Master of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry with minimum 2 years experience in handling, breeding and maintenance of laboratory animals particularly inbred transgenic strains. The maximum age limit is 35 years with relaxation for candidates of reserved category as per Govt. of India rule. Desirable experience of working in an animal research facility linked to an academic institution or GLP certified Laboratory would be desirable. Persons fulfilling the requirements may submit their applications online (website iasst.gov.in) with a hard copy superscribed with Advertisement Number to the Registrar, IASST, Paschim Boragaon, Garchuk, Guwahati-35, Assam within fifteen days from the date of publication of this advertisement. Only short listed candidates will be called for interview. Interview may be held via online mode. If interview is held in the offline mode, the candidate should bring their original mark-sheets, certificates and other credential at the time of interview.
