The Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST), Guwahati is an autonomous R&D Institute under the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. The Institute invites applications for short term (2-4 months) internship/dissertation/training for the year 2021 in the following areas: Basic and Applied Plasma Physics, Advanced Material Sciences, Mathematical and Computational Sciences, and Life Sciences. Candidates pursuing M.Sc./M.Tech. and B.Tech/B.E are eligible to apply. The programme will tentatively start from 15th February, 2021. Selected candidates will have to pay internship/training fee of Rs. 2500 per month towards laboratory/chemical/equipment handling cost.
