The G. B. Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment and Sustainable Development is inviting applications for the following positions: Research Associate-I, Junior Research Fellow, Junior Project Fellow, and Field Assistant. The positions are purely project-based and are funded by the National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMHS). The candidates with adequate qualification may appear for a Walk-in Interview on June 30, 2016, at 11:00 A.M. onward at the Kosi-Katarmal Almora campus of the Institute. Desirous candidates may forward an advanced copy of their application to the Administrative Officer by email (os@gbpihed.nic.in) clearly mentioning the position applied for. Candidates appearing for the interview should bring original copies (with Xerox copy) of certificates, testimonials, resume, publication, etc. along with an application. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates appearing for the interview.

Experience: 3 years experience for Junior Research Fellow and 1 year working experience in the Himalayan region for Field Assistant.
