Applications are invited for the position of Project Assistant Level-II at G.B. PANT NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF HIMALAYAN ENVIRONMENT & SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT. The position is purely project-based and temporary. The selected candidate will work on the DST-WTI funded project entitled 'Removal of Pharmaceutical and personal care products (PPCPs) from contaminated water using pine needle based Activated Carbon/Biological Activated Carbon'. The candidate should have a Master's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Physics, or B.Tech./BE in Environmental/Chemical/Biochemical Engineering. The age limit is 28 years, and the emoluments are Rs. 8,000 per month consolidated. The selection process will be based on a walk-in interview on August 24, 2018, at 10:00 AM onward at Kosi-Katarmal (Almora) campus of the Institute.
