The candidates will be selected through a walk-in-interview on 16.07.2018 at 10:00 AM on the Kosi-Katarmal (Almora) campus of the Institute. The selected candidates will receive a salary of Rs. 25,000/- pm + HRA for NET-JRF qualified candidates or Rs. 16,000/- pm + HRA for non NET candidates. The age limit for the candidates is 28 years for Junior Research/Project Fellow, 35 years for Field Assistant/Data Entry Operator, and 30 years for Project Assistant. The essential qualifications for the positions are a Master's degree in Earth Science/Geography/RS & GIS or relevant subject/B. Tech. in relevant brand of Engineering for Junior Research/Project Fellow, Intermediate with 3 years experience for Field Assistant/Data Entry Operator, and a Graduate in science from recognized University with consistently good academic records for Project Assistant. The desirable qualifications for the positions are experience of working with GIS environment/urban studies, experience of field work in high altitude areas across Himalaya for Junior Research/Project Fellow, working experience in the Himalayan region for Field Assistant/Data Entry Operator, and assistance in field surveys, restoration model development and community mobilization for participation, experience of working in remote Himalayan region/with rural communities in Himalaya for Project Assistant.
