Applications are invited for purely project based temporary positions in R&D projects at North East Unit of G.B. Pant Institute of Himalayan Environment & Development. Candidates having consistently good academic record with 1st class Master's Degree in or equivalent degree in subjects/specializations as given below against project positions may apply. The positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the duration of the project. The positions are available in DST funded Task Force-3 entitled “Forests Resources and Plant Bio-diversity” and In-House R&D project “Eco-tourism as a potential tool for biodiversity conservation and sustainable livelihood in Indian Himalayan Region”. The selected candidates will be engaged on a purely temporary basis for a period of one year or till the completion of the project whichever is earlier. The engagement can be extended further based on the performance of the candidate and requirement of the project. The selected candidates will be paid a consolidated salary of Rs. 12,000/- per month + HRA for JRF positions and Rs. 10,000/- per month + HRA for Non NET positions.
