Applications are invited for Junior Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow positions at G.B. Pant Institute of Himalayan Environment & Development, Himachal Unit. The positions are purely project-based and temporary. Candidates having appropriate qualifications in relevant subjects with good academic records and experience may apply. The positions are available for two projects: 'Population Assessment, Standardization of Propagation Protocols and Establishment (ex situ & in situ) of Selected Species as a Part of Biodiversity Conservation Plan under Sainj Hydro-Electric Project in Himachal Pradesh' and 'Standardization of post-harvest technology for wild rose hips and promotion as a sustainable livelihood option among poor self-help women groups in Kullu Valley, Himachal Pradesh'. The selected candidates will be required to work on these projects and will be paid a stipend. The application process involves submitting a bio-data in advance to the Scientist In-charge, G.B. Pant Institute of Himalayan Environment and Development, Himachal Unit, and appearing for a walk-in-interview on December 17, 2015, at 11 A.M. at the same institute. The candidates are required to bring along all certificates, testimonials, publications, etc. in original. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
