Applications are invited for purely project based temporary positions under DST-SEED-TIME funded project entitled Enhancement of livelihood options based on locally available resources in disaster affected villages in Kedar valley of Uttarakhand. Candidates having appropriate qualifications in relevant subject/specialization with consistently good academic record and experience may apply. The positions are purely project based temporary positions and will be filled on a contract basis. The selected candidates will be required to work on the project for a specified period. The project is funded by DST-SEED-TIME and is aimed at enhancing livelihood options based on locally available resources in disaster affected villages in Kedar valley of Uttarakhand. The project will focus on developing sustainable livelihood options for the local communities and will involve research, development, and implementation of various interventions. The selected candidates will be required to work in a team and will be responsible for implementing the project activities. The project will be monitored and evaluated regularly to ensure its effectiveness and impact. The selected candidates will be required to submit regular progress reports and will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of the project activities. The project will be completed within a specified timeframe and the selected candidates will be required to work towards achieving the project objectives. The selected candidates will be required to have a good understanding of the project objectives and will be responsible for implementing the project activities in accordance with the project plan. The project will be implemented in collaboration with various stakeholders including local communities, government agencies, and other organizations. The selected candidates will be required to work in a collaborative manner and will be responsible for building relationships with the stakeholders. Education: Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Botany/Forestry/Environmental Sciences/Sociology with first class Master Degree. Age Limit: Project Coordinator: 35 years, Senior Programme Officer and Field Assistant: 28 years, relaxation for SC/ST/Women/PH and OBC candidates as per Govt. norms. Experience: Working experience on livelihood, technology development and delivery mechanism in rural settings, and knowledge of computer. Nationality: Indian citizen. Other: None
