The G.B. Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment and Sustainable Development (GBPNIHESD) is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Project Manager for the Kangchenjunga Landscape Conservation and Development Initiative (KLCDI). The position is short-term, temporary, and purely project-based. The selected candidate will be placed at the Sikkim Unit of the Institute at Pangthang (Gangtok), Sikkim. The position is initially up to 31st December 2017, and further extension can be granted based on availability of funds and the review of performance.
Education: First Class Master's degree in Life Sciences, Earth Science, Environmental Science, or Social Science. Age Limit: 50 years. Experience: At least 3 years of working experience as senior/coordinating/managing personnel in multi-national international projects.
Pay Scale: ₹70,000 per month. Grade Pay: Not specified. Level: Not specified. Allowances: Not specified. Total Package: Approximately ₹70,000 per month.
